Most exit polls had predicted a BJP victory and a setback for the Aam Aadmi Party, but the people's decision will determine the final leadership in Delhi for the next five years. The people will be able to get answers to the questions of who will replace Aam Aadmi Party Chief Minister Atishi and other ministers. Most exit polls had predicted an easy victory for the BJP in Delhi, including P-Mark People's Plus, JVC Poll, People's Insight and Chanakya Strategy. Meanwhile, the Matris has predicted a hung assembly in Delhi.

Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal contested from the New Delhi seat against BJP's Parvesh Verma and Congress's Sandeep Dikshit. Aam Aadmi Party candidate and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi contested from Kalkaji constituency against Congress leader Alka Lamba and BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri. Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Satyendra Jain contested from Shakur Basti against BJP's Karnel Singh.

A victory for the Aam Aadmi Party in the 2025 Delhi elections will be a hat-trick for Arvind Kejriwal's ruling party. To form a government in a union territory, any party needs to win at least 36 seats. Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party has contested all the seats and is confident about its governance track record and welfare initiatives. On the other hand, the BJP has launched a media campaign to portray the Aam Aadmi Party as corrupt. The third largest party, Congress, is hoping for a better performance, which has not been able to win a single seat in the last two elections.
