Srinagar: Spokesperson of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference expressed deep concern over the targeting of judicial terrorism against Kashmiris illegally detained in Indian jails.

Srinagar (Point News Today / Pakistan Point News - NNI. 14th December, 2024) The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has expressed serious concern over the continued judicial terrorism being perpetrated against Kashmiris illegally detained in the occupied territory and Indian jails. According to Kashmir Media, the spokesperson of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, urged the United Nations, human rights institutions and the International Court of Justice to take notice of the heinous act of continuously subjecting Kashmiri political detainees to judicial terrorism. He said that the Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Masarat Alam Butt, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Asia Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen, Fehmida Sufi, Naeem Ahmed Khan, Ayaz Akbar, Pir Saifullah, Merajuddin Kalwal, Shahidul Islam, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Mushtaq Islam, Bilal Siddiqui, Maulvi Bashir Irfani, Amir Hamza, Dr. Hamid Fayyaz, Abdul Ahmed Para, Noor Muhammad Fayyaz, Hayat Ahmed Butt, Shaukat Hakeem, Zafar Akbar Butt, Muhammad Yousaf Falahi, Dr. Muhammad Qasim Fakto, Dr. Muhammad Shafi Shariati, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Rafiq Ahmed Ganai, Zahoor Ahmed Butt, Shakeel Ahmed Yetu, Omar Adil Dar, Saleem Nannaji, Muhammad Yasin Butt, Fayyaz Hussain Jafri, Adil Siraj Zargar, Dawood Zargar, Syed Shahid Yousaf Shah, Syed Shakeel Yousaf Shah, Aizaz Ahmed Sheikh, Advocate Mian Abdul Qayyum, Advocate Nazir Ahmed Ronga, Advocate Muhammad Ashraf Butt, Advocate Muzaffar Qayyum, Shabroz Bano, Afreena Gani, Nagina Manzoor, Munira Begum, Safiqa Begum, Ishrat Rasool, human rights defender Khurram Pervez, journalists, Irfan Majeed, Majid Haideri and thousands of other Kashmiris are languishing in Indian jails in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and far-flung places.
He said that Modi’s Hindutva government is prolonging their detention through various dirty tricks, the detainees have been deprived of all basic facilities including medical care, and Kashmiri people have been deprived of all the rights that political prisoners are entitled to under local and international laws. The spokesperson said that Kashmiris arrested on false charges are not being provided with documentary evidence of their crimes and they have been behind bars for years without any judicial process.
The spokesperson said that the Indian government is using notorious agencies like the National Investigation Agency (NIE) and the State Investigation Agency (SIE) to intimidate and terrorize Kashmiris. The spokesperson also called on the international community to take notice of the ongoing Indian crimes against humanity in the occupied territory and pressure India to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
