Islamabad (UrduPoint News Today - IPA - December 23, 2024) PMLN leader Barrister Aqeel Malik has said that PTI finally had to sit for negotiations with political parties. PTI used to say earlier that it would not talk to thieves and robbers, they do not have authority, but would talk to those who have authority. While talking to Hum News, he said that we are sitting with PTI for negotiations with an open heart and will not back down now. The Prime Minister had also offered negotiations in his speech.

PTI used to say earlier that what is the use of negotiating with them? The government does not have the power and authority to negotiate, why negotiate with them? We will not talk to thieves and robbers, but we will talk to those who have authority.

But the tone of PTI changed overnight. The people have nothing to do with these things, the people want to see Pakistan flourishing, the government is making every effort to provide all facilities to the people at their doorstep.

Look at our economic and governance policy. I would like to say that PTI finally had to sit with the political parties for negotiations. Similarly, Syed Naveed Qamar, the central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, while talking in the program, said that the negotiations between the government and the opposition are a great progress, it is the job of political parties to solve political problems through negotiations, we should sit in the negotiations with the intention that the problems should be solved through negotiations, not on the streets and through strikes.

If the talks among the political parties progress, then things will come out. The opposition has put forward its position in today's negotiations, the government will also put forward its point of view on this. PTI has not yet put forward any points for negotiations. We are facilitators. We want the negotiations to be successful. We want our parliamentary system to be strengthened through dialogue. The opposition will put forward written demands in the next meeting, after which the government will also present its position.
