Palestinian deaths in Gaza war now exceed 45,000

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 52 more people were killed in Israeli military operations in different locations in the last 24 hours. It has been reported that the number of Palestinians injured in this war conflict has also reached about 107,000.

The Health Ministry said that more than half of those killed in this war are women and children.

On the other hand, the Israeli army claims that it has killed more than 17,000 Palestinian fighters in total, but no evidence has been provided for this so far.

The Health Ministry says that the actual number of deaths may be much higher than the figures given, because in many places thousands of bodies are still buried under the rubble or in areas where medical aid teams have not yet been able to access.

The Gaza war began on October 7 last year after a Hamas terrorist attack in southern Israel killed 1,200 Israeli civilians and took nearly 250 hostages. Since then, Israel has launched major air and ground military operations against Hamas in Gaza.

Al Jazeera cameraman killed

The Qatari broadcaster Al Jazeera said on Sunday evening that its cameraman Ahmed Al-Louh and five Palestinian Civil Defense personnel were killed in an Israeli air strike in the central Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera, citing rescue workers and local journalists, claimed that its cameraman was killed. On the other hand, the Israeli army described the incident as the “death of a terrorist.” The information provided by both sides could not be independently verified.

According to Al Jazeera, Ahmed Al-Louh was killed in an Israeli strike on Sunday while carrying out journalistic duties in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

According to Al Jazeera, he was also wearing his journalistic bulletproof jacket and helmet on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced on Sunday evening that its air force had targeted “Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists who were carrying out operations against Israel from a command and control center located in the Civil Defense office in Nusra.”

According to the military statement, this command center was used by the terrorists to plan attacks on the Israeli army.
