All energies should be utilized to raise the Kashmir issue at the international level, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry

Islamabad (UrduPoint News Today/ Pakistan Point News - APP - 30th December, 2024) President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that all energies should be used to raise the Kashmir issue at the international level and in this regard, Kashmiris living abroad, especially in the UK, should play their full role and raise their voice in other forums including the British Parliament to highlight the Kashmir issue and expose the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
He expressed these views here in a detailed meeting with Lord Qurban Hussain, Member of the British House of Lords, at the Presidency Kashmir House, Islamabad. He said that since August 5, 2019, India has been committing atrocities on the Kashmiri people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and has displaced Kashmiris on their own land.
India has started settling non-state residents in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, through which it wants to change the population ratio in occupied Kashmir.
India is martyring Kashmiri youth in fake encounters, blinding children and elderly people with pellet guns and raping women in occupied Kashmir. All these inhuman atrocities of India are against international human rights which India has been inflicting on Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir for the last 7 decades. In such circumstances, Kashmiris living all over the world and especially in the UK will have to unite and mobilize and expose these Indian atrocities in front of the world in a lively manner.
In the meeting on this occasion, Lord Qurban Hussain, Member of the British House of Lords, assured the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, that he will play his full role in highlighting the Kashmir issue at the international level and especially in the British Parliament and will expose India's atrocities. On this occasion, Lord Qurban Hussain, Member of the British House of Lords, said that the construction of an international airport in Mirpur Azad Kashmir is a long-standing demand of the people of Mirpur because a large number of the people of Mirpur live abroad.
The construction of an international airport in Mirpur will provide the people of Mirpur with the best and easiest facilities for international travel. In this regard, Lord Qurban Hussain, a member of the British House of Lords, requested the President of the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, to also make efforts for the construction of an international airport in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.
In this regard, the President of the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, said that he would make his best efforts for an international airport in Azad Kashmir. On this occasion, Lord Qurban Hussain, a member of the British House of Lords, appreciated the efforts made by the President of the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, to highlight the Kashmir issue at the international level and invited the President of the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, to visit the United Kingdom and address the British Parliament, which the President of the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, accepted and said that he would soon visit the United Kingdom and highlight the Kashmir issue before the international community and address the British Parliament to expose the atrocities ongoing in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the hideous and disgusting face of India to the British members of Parliament.
