Trolling on social media is nothing short of a punishment.

Islamabad (UrduPoint News Today/ Pakistan Point News - 11th Jan, 2025 ) It is surprising that social media trolling has become a kind of "revenge" front. If you want to take revenge on someone, if you want to get angry, then somehow or other you can link a sensitive aspect to your opponent's personality and then as a result, the targeted person and his family are humiliated.

No matter how noble they may be in terms of speech and character.

It is no secret that due to the stupidity of some people, people who are constantly being trolled on social media are suffering from severe depression and their careers and relationships are also being affected.

According to social media analysts, people who use social media frequently and are prone to irritability are very likely to have become the target of this weapon.

Trolls rarely realize how much their single negative sentence, phrase, comment or joke affects the lives of others. Trolls work in such a way that their white lies distort the truth. They react as if they personally know celebrities, people with excellent reputations.

The fact is that the use of social media by inexperienced, inexperienced people is like a match in the hands of a monkey whose fire burns everything.

Therefore, we can say that the graph of misuse of personal freedom has gone up a lot. The most attacks are on privacy, whoever uploads whatever they want on social media. Many people have shared personal data on their profiles, which easily falls into the hands of the wrong elements.

Trolls present their identity in such a terrible way in their circle of friends that the parrots in their hands fly away.

Moreover, the personality of the affected person becomes tarnished. People look at him with suspicious eyes, despite his efforts to regain his lost dignity.

You must have heard the saying, "Good, bad, bad". The life of such an affected person keeps revolving around the same orbit. Ultimately, due to intense fear, he moves far away from his social circle.

Without a doubt, social media has now become a platform where no one respects anyone's opinion, but it has become common to abuse each other. For example, the mud that is thrown at politicians and social activists by arranging ridiculous posters. God forbid!

In modern times, tolerance for each other has disappeared like a horn from a donkey's head.

The biggest demonstration of rudeness can be done during live streaming of internet and TV channels, there are such comments that directly attack the personalities of party leaders, anchor persons, government officers invited to the program. Those with negative tendencies present their position in front of the public after using foul language. I don't understand what line of rudeness we are standing on?

A large number of senior citizens in the society are grateful that most of their lives have been spent without social media.

The same is true of the educated class that they prefer abstinence instead of getting caught up in the social media fever.

It is surprising that those who troll on social media are such cowards who, if you meet them, will not be able to raise their heads and speak. Most of the people who troll on personal matters are those whom their families do not care about and they are declaring themselves intellectuals in the comment sections of various social apps.

An important point to remember regarding trolling is that social media users should keep personal freedom in mind. This is an artificial world, real life should not be affected because of it. The moral and intellectual weakness of our society is such that it is tantamount to a lack of social unity and solidarity. In such a suffocating environment where someone's honor is tarnished by provocative speeches, indecent conversations using the cover of creed and religion are called personal freedom.

Effective measures should be taken to prevent them. Without a doubt, social sites are the most used tool to harass people today. The internet should be used for communication and information, not to hurt the self-esteem of others.

If you are active on social media, then you have to make your heart like an ocean, in which you keep pouring the negativity of people. Ignore the lies of people. If people make a mountain of insults, then climb that mountain and find your destination, but do not take them to heart.
