Muzaffarabad (UrduPoint News Today/ Pakistan Point News - 27th December, 2024) The ceremony was held at the end of the first session of the 10th Mid-Career Management Course organized by the Kashmir Institute of Management. Most Senior Minister Colonel (Retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor attended the ceremony as the chief guest. The ceremony was attended by Secretary Services Zafar Mahmood Khan, Senior Member Board of Revenue Zaheeruddin Qureshi, Secretary P&D Aamir Latif, Secretary Wildlife and Fisheries Aamir Mahmood Mirza, Secretary PPH Chaudhry Majeed, Former Additional Chief Secretary (General) Farhat Ali Mir, Former Secretary Government Khawaja Muhammad Ahsan, Director Admin Kashmir Institute of Management Tariq Mahmood Butt, Chief Instructor Kashmir Institute of Management Abrar Ahmed and Director Information Department Muhammad Bashir Mirza among others.
Director Admin Kashmir Institute of Management Tariq Mahmood Butt informed the participants about the usefulness of the 10th Mid-Career Management Course of Kashmir Institute of Management. Speaking on the occasion, Most Senior Minister Colonel (Retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor said that capacity building is very important, the government is taking practical steps to train officers according to the requirements of the present era, it is necessary to set priorities with limited resources, there is a need to move forward with dedication and determination, officers play a key role in implementing the policy, the welfare of the people is the first priority of the current government, the current government has taken practical steps to promote merit, we have to determine the right direction.
He said that officers should play a key role in making the system effective, the current era is the era of information, communication and technologies, if we are familiar with innovation in this era, things can be run in a better way. He said that Kashmir Institute of Management is an institution with wonderful traditions, the performance of Kashmir Institute is exemplary, we appreciate the role of the institution in training officers.
He said that change is possible if we work with dedication. With determination, officers should try the skills learned under the auspices of Kashmir Institute of Management in the field. There is no compromise on efficiency. The government is taking all possible steps to improve the available resources. The government's development projects will bring progress to the region. The priority is to serve the people.
Addressing the closing ceremony of the first session of the Mid-Career Management Course, Director Admin Kashmir Institute of Management Tariq Mahmood Butt said that Kashmir Institute of Management is striving for the promotion of intellectual awareness, professional skills as well as effective training of officers in accordance with the requirements of the present day. Our view is that the Azad Government of Jammu and Kashmir should be provided with the best trained officers, along with capacity building, critical thinking should be fostered, only the best bureaucracy equipped with the promotion of technology and modern requirements can play an important role in the implementation of the policy.
He said that there is a need to work with determination, Kashmir Institute of Management is an ideal institution for character building, intellectual cultivation and excellent management skills for officers and for enhancing their capabilities. Officers should work with dedication and hard work and consider the welfare of the state and public service as their mission. They should not be officers but public servants. It is a great thing to fulfill the responsibility of serving the people. Continue the mission of service and play a practical role in the development of the state. At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest of the ceremony, Most Senior Minister Colonel (Retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor, also distributed introductory certificates to the batch of 31 participants of the first session of the Med Career Management Course.
