Security forces foil infiltration attempt in Pakistan, over 15 Khawarij killed

 Afghan Taliban fled after abandoning six posts due to Pakistani shelling. 20 to 25 terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij tried to infiltrate two places, Kurram and North Waziristan, using Afghan Taliban border posts on the Pak-Afghan border, security sources said.

December 28, 2024) Security forces have foiled an infiltration attempt by Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists on the Pak-Afghan border, killing more than 15 Khawarij and Afghan Taliban. 20 to 25 terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij tried to infiltrate into Pakistan on the Pak-Afghan border, which was foiled by Pakistani security forces after timely action. According to security sources, initial reports of heavy losses on the Afghan side during the operation have been received.


There are confirmed reports that more than 15 Khawarij and Afghan Taliban were killed and several others injured due to effective counter-fire. As a result of the timely action of the security forces, the infiltration attempt from North Waziristan was foiled. The Afghan Taliban fled after leaving six posts due to Pakistani shelling. According to details, the foreigners tried to infiltrate two places, Kurram and North Waziristan, using the border posts of the Afghan Taliban.


Pakistan and Afghan Taliban exchanged fire and used heavy weapons against each other. Responding to the Afghan provocation and infiltration attempt, Pakistani security forces inflicted heavy losses. Security sources say that the foreigners tried to infiltrate Pakistan again in the early hours of December 28. The foreigners and Afghan Taliban together opened fire with heavy weapons on Pakistani posts without provocation.

In response, Pakistani security forces gave a strong and decisive response to this unprovoked firing. The Afghan Taliban fled after abandoning six posts due to Pakistani shelling. Sources also say that there are initial reports of heavy losses on the Afghan side. There are confirmed reports of more than 15 foreigners and Afghan Taliban killed and several injured in the effective retaliatory fire.

Sources say that there are no reports of casualties among Pakistani security forces and only three were injured. According to sources, the exchange of fire is taking place in Anzarka and Karsha, and the atmosphere of fear and panic persists in the area. Security sources say that Pakistan has repeatedly asked the interim Afghan government not to use its soil against Pakistan for Fitna al-Khawarij. Instead of controlling Fitna al-Khawarij and suppressing these terrorist elements, the Afghan Taliban are continuously supporting them. The sources further said that Fitna al-Khawarij is present in Afghanistan with complete freedom and is using Afghan soil for anti-Pakistan terrorist activities. Pakistani security forces are capable of giving a befitting reply to any kind of aggression.
