Kachi community event in honor of Pakistani-born Swedish politician Zubair Hussain
International Kutch Organization and Kutch Muslim Potters Group hold ceremony in honor of Zubair

Karachi (UrduPoint News Today- 27th December, 2024) Zubair Hussain, a well-known Swedish political and social figure who recently contested the Swedish general elections as a candidate for the National Assembly, is currently on a visit to Pakistan. He is meeting various business and social figures to promote business and cultural cooperation between Swedish and Pakistani institutions. Zubair Hussain was warmly welcomed by the Kachhi community in Karachi and a grand ceremony titled “An Evening in the Name of Zubair Hussain” was organized in his honor.
The event was organized in collaboration with the International Kutch Organization and the Kutch Muslim Potters' Association, in which prominent members of the Kutch community participated. The event was attended by Chairman Kutch Muslim Potters' Association Imran Mujahid, Vice Chairman Ayaz Ali, General Secretary Potters' Supreme Council Hanif, President Kutch Potters' Association Dawood Berapar, General Secretary Kutch Potters' Association Ghani Zakar, Secretary Kutch Supreme Council Abdul Karim Chauhan, Member Kutch Supreme Council Mushtaq Qureshi, Abdul Shakoor Siro, President Kutch Laniga Jamaat Hafeez Alyani, Javed Ali Potters' Association from Kutch Core Committee, Iqbal Hassan, Imran Lakhani, Ibrahim Gul, Faqir Muhammad Sati, Kutch Mia Jamaat Usmanabad from Shehzad, Azhar, Haris, Waqas, Dhobi Ghat Qadri Jamaat from Aamir Qadri, Senior Member of Dalmian Kutch Para Abdul Ghani Shan, Hanif Soda, Irfan Sup, Abdul Rashid Manjothi, Abdul Rahim Sati and a large number of youth participated. Addressing the participants of the event, Zubair Hussain said that among the problems facing Pakistan at the moment, the misguidance of youth through social media is a serious problem. He said that in the past, the dreams of youth were to become doctors, engineers and professors, but in today's era, social media influencers have pushed the youth towards misguidance.
Zubair Hussain said that some neo-Nazis are even snatching the savings of their parents by luring the youth to migrate abroad. To solve all these problems, Zubair Hussain has pledged to provide a platform for some youth where the youth interested in the field of education will be helped in obtaining scholarships and the talented youth will be connected to technical education institutions through modern technology.
Internationally renowned truck art artist Iqbal Sanam also attended the event and presented Zubair Hussain with a truck art portrait in recognition of his services to Pakistan. The event’s hosts, the spirit of the International Kutch Organization Imran Mantri, Noman Siddiqui, and Ahmed Raza, thanked all the participants and provided information about the future course of action. The event presents a wonderful example of the solidarity of the Kutch community and appreciation for the services of Zubair Hussain, which is part of the efforts to chart a new path for the youth of Pakistan.
